Spectacular Challenge Entry (nudity)

This is my entry for the Spectacular challenge. It was rushed, and much simpler than what I first intended to do. And, I imagine that its wouldn't be a very palatable or likable image to most people. Still, some parts of the image turned out OK, so hopefully some people will like it. Check out the high resolution image to appeciate the details, but be warned, its very big (3500*5600, 1.8M)

Jellyfish Face

I made this picture much more quickly than I normally would, probably spending around five hours on it all up. I used some pretty cheep techniques like starting with a 3d scan of a face and re-proportioning it to my liking, rather than modeling from scratch, and I did some 2d painting around the mouth and eyes. It is admittedly a bit rough in places, but I like to imagine that this makes it expressive & impressionistic.

Inter-dimensional Predator

This started as a challenge with m@ here
Neither of us really finished the challenge, but it was still lots of fun, and both inspiring and intimidating to see each others work.
I've finally gotten around to making this more polished image, but its still not everything I meant it to be (I wanted to make the body, and an environment).
I was pretty strongly influenced by a painting by Dave King, and by Japanese sculptor Takayuki Takeya.
